Arts & Non-Profit

Working with associations and organizations as well as individual artists and authors, our team has both elevated presence and trained teams and individuals to do so. For the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), we worked closely with the marketing team on messaging and digital content, executed national media campaigns, managed social media campaigns and trained the CEO on the value and use of social media. He now regularly shares his strategic vision and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks of his travels around the world, in order to further spread awareness of IFAW’s standard for conservation and animal welfare worldwide.

Higher Education

At Northeastern University, our team worked with the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, the College of Professional Studies and Bouvé College of Health Sciences to train teams – and even professors – on social media etiquette and policies and presentation skills. We also delivered ongoing thought leadership opportunities and media relations, focused on elevating the awareness of the school’s excellence in programs and the school’s professors as experts across a variety of topics such as law, healthcare, marketing, politics, business, tech and more.

Healthcare

Our healthcare work has spanned hospitals and visiting nurse associations, to ground breaking IoT for clinical workflow (Beacinsight), online communities and social networks for physician to physician communication (SermoQuantiaMD), and more. For St. Louis Children’s Hospital, we focused on family engagement. Our ground-breaking marketing campaign used emotional storytelling to help both children and their families engage and feel a bond with the hospital before admittance. From helping kids relate to their peers via our “Kid-Cam” video campaign, to a “Loyalty Bar” for parents, investors and other interested parties, to a unique blog that allowed families and patients to connect more directly with nurses and doctors, our efforts made the hospital one of the first socially-savvy hospitals in the U.S. Patient queries increased, and the social following tripled for the hospital continually ranked across various specialties in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Children’s Hospital” rankings.

Consumer Lifestyle

From speed dating to fashion and apparel, to a community for introverts, our team has launched consumer lifestyle startups and worked with more established brands such as Life is Good. We helped to create the brand and launch Quiet Revolution, the mission-based company founded by New York Times Best Selling Author Susan Cain. The company was founded after Seth Godin gave Susan advice to take the concept of her 2012 book, “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking,” and form an organization around the ideas within, to further her mission. Our team worked directly with Susan from the very beginning, taking over branding and messaging from a larger NY branding firm, and helping to create the now famous “Q” logo, as well as the website and key partnerships. We managed the marketing process including interviewing, recruiting and hiring team members, as well as outside vendors. We also led media relations, partnerships and business development – creating strategies on everything from Quiet travel to Quiet workplaces and training, and working with partners such as Steelcase to create Steelcase Susan Cain Quiet Spaces for introverts in the workplace.

Consumer Tech

Our consumer tech clients have changed the world in transportation (Zemcar), security (Kaspersky) communications and entertainment (Location Labs, Powwownow, Phonezoo, MeeVee (now LiveUniverse), online shopping (Shopcade), social media (UberVU (now Hootsuite), Photobucket), healthcare (iStand Today, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, TomoTherapy) and even home security (Simplisafe). For Simplisafe, our team launched the first-ever self-installed, buy-what-you-need wireless security system, which at the time was an unknown startup. Working with the husband and wife founders, we strategized on compelling branding and messaging appropriate for an industry disruptor, established social media accounts and campaigns before they were really known for business use, and created ground-breaking, grassroots PR campaigns such as the “America’s Worst Roommate Contest,” which captured the attention of the core audience: young apartment dwellers. As of 2018, Simplisafe had over 300,000 customers and was valued at $1B.

B2B Tech

From security and safety (nCipher, Kaspersky, ELERTS) to HR (Cornerstone OnDemand, Globoforce), enterprise messaging and work productivity (WebEx, CRM and sales enablement (Brainshark, Salesnet/RightNow – now Oracle), marketing and communications (Conduit, Constant Contact), retail (Clavis Insight, Ascential, Springboard Retail, telco (Bluenote Networks, Juniper Networks, Time Warner Telecom – now Level 3 Communications), insurtech and more, our team has worked with hundreds of B2B companies. For Octo Telematics, the number 1 global provider of telematics and data analytics solutions for the auto insurance industry, Mindfull Marketing first served as the North American headquarters’ marketing team, working directly with the CEO. Beginning with a website overhaul, the team also developed region-appropriate branding and messaging, compelling insurtech speaking presentations and award submissions, sales and marketing content, and ran a customer marketing program, analyst program and PR campaigns – all of which were pivotal in establishing North American credibility and awareness. We were also responsible for driving leads and supporting customer acquisition, which helped the company to double its connected users in just over two years, to three million. As the company continued to grow and leadership evolved, Mindfull Marketing also began working directly with the global CMO & marketing teams to establish cohesive marketing and PR across Europe and the U.S.
